Projects

Redintegro Environmental has nearly three decades of operational, compliance & training experience in the waste sector with which to support varying project or short term resourcing needs.

Waste Compliance Audits

A site or business wide audit will provide peace of mind that you are compliant with waste legislation and best practice in terms of process, storage, classification, segregation, transportation, paperwork and record keeping. A full site audit will identify any legal non-compliance and opportunities for environmental and commercial improvement. Tailored to your needs, a site or business audit can incorporate checks around waste transfer notes/consignment notes, contractor licenses permits and registrations, waste reports and invoice integrity, training and competency, storage and containment, equipment use and safety etc

Waste Compositional Analysis

In order to make informed decisions around future strategy it is critical to understand the composition of your waste streams and how effective on-site segregation is. A comprehensive waste compositional analysis will identify the specific components of the waste and their relative concentrations, how these vary from different areas of the facility/site, and wastes causing safety risks that may be bought onto site from outside i.e vapes.
The detailed report provided will identify both environmental and cost improvement opportunities and feed into circular procurement strategies to influence the materials bought onto site that ultimately become waste, with the view to identifying waste reduction opportunities first and foremost, maximising recovery of valuable recyclable materials and minimising the production of residual general waste.

Waste Carbon Reporting

The Greenhouse Gas Protocol includes operational waste disposal in Scope 3 – indirect emissions that occur in a company’s value chain. At present Scope 3 reporting is voluntary however there are many benefits to measuring Scope 3, as a large proportion of emission and cost reduction opportunities lie within this category. We can analyse your waste suppliers monthly or annual waste reports to produce the waste related emissions data for Scope 3 submissions and model wider avoided emissions to provide insight into how your activities support the whole value chain in reducing emissions.

Training

Training of staff and contractors is key in ensuring effective risk management, legal compliance, cost control and embedding best practices. Visit the training page for more information on our CPD Certified courses

Supply Chain Due Diligence

The waste Duty of Care issued under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act 1990 applies legal responsibilities on waste producers, as well as carriers, brokers and processors of waste. The Duty of Care applies responsibilities around who waste is passed to for carriage, the documentation required, and the destination of the waste amongst others.
To fulfil your legal requirement as a waste producer for adequate due diligence, Redintegro Environmental can carry out comprehensive audits of waste carriers and disposal locations ensuring appropriate permits are held and compliant process is evidenced. For more details of due diligence audits please visit the supplier due diligence page of the website.

Clinical Waste Pre-Acceptance Auditing

Waste Pre-acceptance Audits (PAA) are a legal requirement for healthcare facilities. The frequency with which these should be completed varies depending on tonnage and type of facility. Visit our Healthcare Auditing & Training page here for more details.
